herpes scared

i had un protected oral sex for about 30 second. a gal performed oral sex on me..7 weeks back.. n kissed her...and no cold sores and dnt  find any genital break outs...do u think iam safe...tested for hsv igg and igm both are negative...am i fine???

my 8 week result .500 negative.. is it ok.. no OB just pain in groin area and thigh pain

only if the virus is on the surface either by shedding or an open blister taken within 48 hours after appearing. But with shedding it would be hit and miss as we dont know when its on the surface.

for final confirmation suggests 12-14 weeks

is there any pcr test for finding the virus???wats the window period ??

one last question.. if i tested negative 8 weeks.....should i test it after 12 weeks or 16 weeks??

so no outbreaks in 2 weeks or so is not a good indicator right.as per above comment..the only is to get tested after 8 weeks right???

Yes you can if you contracted herpes but you had very low risk so i would not be concerned at all that you now have it.

one more thing can i get out breaks later ???? i dnt have any symptoms...just poking sensation near fingures... n a burning sensation early morning near moustache area.... i smoke a lot...

Not having an outbreak within the first 2 weeks is a good indicator.

hey as per comments for others u said if there s any infection ...then cold sores on lips or genital out breaks will appear in 2 weeks or so..how about my case???

Hi, very low risk activity and 8 weeks is the better indicator. I can say that your fine but its only an opinion and not conclusive.
