Herpes from using someone's tootbrush?

Is it possible for herpes to transmit if you accidentally use someone else's toothbrush?

No.  Herpes is transmitted by direct skin-to-skin rubbing with a person who has herpes.  You can't get it by sharing utensils, toothbrushes, towels, etc.  If a person has oral herpes, you would need to have lip-to-lip rubbing contact with them.

Thank you! I've seen some contradicting information about this online so I was a bit worried, trying to calm down now :)
