Unprotected oral

Hi all.

I would really like input here if possible. 12 days ago I performed unprotected oral sex on a male. It lasted about one minute. Today, on day 12, I have noticed my cheeks and gums feel funny (for lack of a better word). It is a swollen feeling, sort of tingly. It is alarming me because it's been going on for four hours now. My throat is also a little scratchy.

I'm worried it's prodromal symptom of a heroes out break. I do not know the status of the man. At 12 days last exposure what are the odds of this being early signs of herpes? Or am I jumping to conclusions?

Any input would be appreciated!

From my research, 12 days is a bit late for an outbreak. Is that correct?
