If i can offer a bit of advice on your prostatatis .Look up Ibrahim Saracoglu and his broccoli treatment .I did it and I think it works great .Better than all the meds that I took trying to treat it .
I think you should take the advice of the physician who is seeing you in person for these problems.

I went in to my Ureologist because I had an appt for my prostate. Ive been taking a lot of meds for Prostatis. Showed him the area and he said it was a bacterial skin infection cause by mrsa (staph)
He game Clyndamicin for 10 days. I took the medicine as well as applied Hydro Peroxide and Neosporin creme. It cleared up but seems to have left the pinkish area. The pinkness seems to still be ther. Almost looks like a scar. The strange thing is while I was taking the Clyndamicin I felt GREAT ..no more prostate problems. As soon as I finished my medicine the irritation in the tip of the penis returned. And like I said the pinkness is still there.
Do you think his assesment of a skin infection is correct since I had a previous episode of the same thing (not as bad before though) ?
He never mentioned HSV.....I assume he sees alot of that so it sort of made me feel better.....but the fact it is still there is making my mind wander again. What should I do?
Neosporin is not an antifungal medicine, it is an antibiotic and would not help to treat a fungal infection.
Have you considered going in and having your provider have a look at this area? I think you should.
Again, the symptoms do not sound herpetic to me, but I can't really tell much over the internet.

I tried some Neosporin but that just seemed to make the skin burn more. Its been over a week. I stopped taking the antibiotics on Tuesday and the area has started to dry up. When it was constantly oozing with that snot like film over the area I would use a white sloth to dry it and the stuff that came off would be yellow and sometime even have a green tint to it. The outer edge of this area is starting to dry up and it is leaving a yellow/green crust.......like the kind you get in the corner of your eye when you wake up in the morning. It doesnt hurt that bad anymore because the raw skin is hardening. I will say this time seemed much worse.
Im just afraid that it has occurred twice in the same area in less than three months after that episode with the stripper. Every picture I have looked up looks like Balantis or Canidada and not like Herpes but I cant seem to get that possiblity out of my head. I know I was on meds twice but which is more of a coicidence?
Is it possible for Herpes to stay alive outside of the body long enough for the transmission scenario I described? Do you have any statistics on this? What is your opinion and advice?
This set of symptoms does sound much more like a fungal infection than herpes to me. The circumstances that predispose you to fungal infection would be taking antibiotics, hot temperatures in the groin area, and possibly, though less likely, the swimming part. Have you tried using an over the counter antifungal cream on this area?
