is it herpes,warts,or folliculitis?

Dear, DR

I am 18 yrs. old, and I got some bumps scattered around in my thighs. I got this like 3-4 weeks ago. so like 4 days after i went to the doctor fom my school and she said at first it was warts.then i explained to her that ti was impossible because i have only had one sex partner which was my first one and iv'e been with im for 3 years now, ans he has no sign of anything like this.so she took a look at it and then said it looked more like folliculitis.so she prescribed some antibiotics for me to take for 7 days, 3 times a day.however prior to that a day befpre i had gone to get a pap smear at some other clinic and they told me i had a yeast infection so they gave me an antibiotic.so now it's been 2 weeks and i still have those bumps, they seem smaller though.so i went to the clinic yesterday because i started to have genital burning when I would urinate and bath. so i thought probably the yeast infection is back! when the doctor checked me she said i had herpes, and that the burning in my vagina was probably the symptom.she said it couldn't be folliculitis because where i had these bumps no hair grows around there! i am so scared! i asked her is she was 100% sure it was herpes but she said NO! so i asked her if she would check my blood to test me for herpes, but she said that it would probabaly not come out accurate because the bumps almost looking like pimples were dry.so she told me to wait and see if there was a a freshone to comeback and then she would pop the bump and test it for herpes.she gave me 2 creams and 2 antibiotics for the burning in my gential.I'm so scared i can't even sleep thinking wheather is it herpes or  not! i can't wait for a fresh one to come out, matter fact i don't think i'll get a fresh one.my boyfriend doesn' thave any symptom at all of any kind.PLEASE HELP!!!

With all the antibiotics they're giving you I would be surprised if you didn't have a yeast infection! You don't have to be having an outbreak to get a result from a blood test. If you don't want to go to your family doctor, go to Planned Parenthood. They'll do the test there and it's not very expensive. I think it was $25.

this is not the doctor's forum - you have to pay to post there.

Has your partner ever had any partners prior to you?
