Herpes or friction burn?

Hello, I am a 32 year old healthy male,  I was in a long-term relationship until recently.  I went on vacation and had unprotected oral sex (she preformed on me)  and protected vaginal sex, although the condom broke at at the last couple minutes.  Directly after sex I noticed red spots on the head of my penis, ( we did have sex for about 45 minutes)  The red spots went away, until I got home (the next day)  and masturbated, then they returned, the next day they where gone, but if I spread the skin out on the head of my penis I can slightly still see them, they are not really ichy or painful, keep in mind I never wore condoms with my ex, we were both tested.  Now the girl I slept wth said she was recently tested for STD's and said there was nothing to worry about.  Just worried that's all,  any help would be great.

You might have a fungal infection on the head of the penis.  Have you tried anything like Lotrimin on this rash?

It is good news, and good for you for going to see your doctor.  I'm happy for you that he thought it was nothing to worry about.

I just read your post, Thank you for your time.  I went to see my doctor, he looked at the spot on my penis, Which can really only see if you spread the skin a apart, He told me, it was nothing, he said it was chaffing from the sex.  He said their were no blisters, just normal skin that had been rubbed to much.  I guess that is good news.

The question you need to ask her is "were you specifically tested for herpes" because most STD tests don't include that test.  However, having said that, herpes would not show up right after sex.  It would take at least two days.  The red spots could be several things including friction and a yeast infection or irritation from lubricant .  I would bet money AGAINST this being herpes because of it's rapid onset.  Just check with her about the testing issue.  And when you and your partner were tested previously, was herpes testing included?  Did you actually see that it was?
