Herpes or something else?

Ok....so last week I shaved in between my butt cheeks and the perineum area for the first time in a long time. Once I got out of the shower it burned a bit but it was no big deal. A little less than a week later I noticed three zit sized bumps in the same place that were flesh colored. Only one of the bumps which was  located almost between my cheeks was pretty irritated and had a small white bump on the top. It didn't cause pain til I almost scratched it off. It hurt so bad I could barely sleep. The others only hurt when I touched them and I didn't know they were there until I got a mirror. They were all hard to the touch almost like a zit. I thought they were ingrown hairs and would go away soon.

So two days later these things burst open and the pain is almost unbearable. They are concave with one or two stubby hairs in the middle. The outside is flesh colored then there's a red ring and then there the white gushy looking part in the middle with the hair. I should also mention that there's a lot of discharge and pain when urinating and burning when it gets on the bumps. The skin around them itches like crazy and the things themselves hurt. There is also one single red bump on my inner labia that doesn't hurt at all. I should also mention that I've had mulloscum contagiousum for the last two years. I've never ever gotten it on my vagina, just under my arm pits and on my abdomen. I get one or two at a time now and I hardly pay attention to them anymore.

I went to urgent care yesterday. The doctor said they looked like popped blisters, took a culture, and prescribed me antivirals. The one that she basically scrapped off stopped hurting immediately and looked like nothing was even there. It's red again today, but doesn't hurt when I touch it like the rest. I should get my results soon, but I'm really scared.

Well no more sex with him until he puts a full set of STD/STI tests in front of you with HSV for good measure.

I was tested for STDs and HIV 2 months ago, but I'm not sure if that included HSV. I've been with the same sexual partner for the last 9 months however after my doctors visit yesterday he informed me that he has had two other partners since July and did not use protection. He doesn't have any issues, but I know herpes can be dormant.

These do not sound like herpes lesions.

Have you tested for HSV previously? What has been your sexual history recently?
