Herpes oral and genital
So I thought I had oral and genital hsv2 after an encounter that included accidental 10 seconds of genital rubbing probably less and giving and receiving unprotected oral WHiLE on valtrex is when this encounter occurred. I went off valtrex 10 days after that encounter. I received negative blood test for hsv2 7 months out but I am still concerned bc I am experiencing symptoms. How concerned should I be and what should I do at this point?
Hello grace, I did discuss my symptoms with my regular provider. She squid that I probably have reoccuring hsv1 on my lip . The possibility of scabies is come up as a possible explanation to my symptoms. However, I have a hard time believing that because I was misdiagnosed and put on antivirals for hsv2 so I thought it would be a good idea to stay with someone who also has it. I performed unprotected oral and received unprotected oral. I also accidentally rubbed genitals. Total genital to genital contact is probably 10 seconds or less if that. 4 days later I stubbed my toe and a few hours later I got 3 tender red blotches appear on my pubic area and 1 by my vaginal lips. I got off antivirals 10 days after this. Now every month with my period I get pimples on my buttocks and groin. I tested 3 times since this exposure with herpes select once at 5 weeks, 4 months, and 7 months all negative at . 12 or .19. I'm worried that scabies plus my early antiviral treatment prevented seroconversion.
this doesn't sound at all like it's a herpes related issue. are you following up on your symptoms with your regular provider?
Whole body tingling and leg pain would not be considered prodrome. Also prodrome is for someone who already has herpes. Im sorry but your post is not very clear.
I have tingling on my whole body with leg pain. Few pimples. My partner had an outbreak the week before and went on the antivirals for 6 days prior to encounter
Hi, you want to know if you contracted hsv2 oral from giving and contracting hsv2 genital after receiving? What are your symptoms?
