I had a screening for all STDs done in June, everything was negative except HSV type 2.
Early June .98
Late June 1.05
Mid July 1.16

The first two are equivocal and last is positive. I have been reading that anything below 3.5 is possibly false positive.
I guess I am in denial and want to know for sure. I have had no symptoms but I have been more sexually active, of course I used condoms for intercourse. I have gotten oral and gave it, no one had visible sores, which I know you can still get from Shedding. There was lots of Genital to genital contact too I plan on getting another Igg test when I am due for a physical in October, which is 5 months of when I think
I got it. This way if it is 3.5 or more then I know for sure.

If I got Westernblot how long would I have to wait? By the way I am
Gay.

I think I read that for WB takes about 2 weeks or so but I think others who have done it can comment more.  Please stop back and let us know the results please!

Hi, having 2 low positives would conclude positive and recent. You can call the University of washington and ask about the times involved.
