nothing else I can help you with unless you get a + test result. as I've said before, be seen every single time you have symptoms. if they suspect herpes, make them prove it with lesion cultures.
SHE was the 2nd dermatology doctor!!!! and she give be a pre. For antiviral.
your doctor isn't acting in your best interest dear. your frequency of symptoms, unresponsiveness to antivirals and continued negative test results all point to this not being a herpes issue. see a different doctor for a more thorough work up.
THE doctor said herpes even with negative result!!!!!!!
no you do not. you've yet to have a + herpes test at this point so you don't need antivirals. you need to find out what is going on and causing your symptoms.
GRACE
I am still have the red bump in groin area since last sunday almost 10 days now plus i have lowerr back pain from buttocks down to my both legs. FEEL burnning when seting. SOMETImes itchy too.
DO i need to start to take antiviral.?
if this isn't herpes yes indeed you can have symptoms on multiple locations at the same time.
follow up with a dermatologist. since you have no positive herpes tests, really nothing else I can add for you .
GRACE
1- How often skin staph infection recurrent?
2- can we get lesion or blister on multiple area of body (groin. Buttock. Tights) at the same time?
Thanks
as I've said before, odds are this is not a herpes issue. continue to follow up with a dermatologist to find out what is going on.
My biokit came back negative....
no cough is not a flu symptom.
you do not have flu symptoms typically with recurrences.
please, no more questions unless you get a + herpes result.
I have lower back pain with nerve pain too.
Cough is a flu symptoms, right?
Thank you grace
you can have lower back pain with herpes recurrences. if this was due to herpes though, a week into symptoms it should've been gone.
So the lower back is a sign of herpes?
Thanks grace
a cough is not a sign of herpes.
lower back pain can be caused by many things.
recurrences of herpes would've been almost healed at this point.
as I've recommended previously, be seen every time you have symptoms for an exam. You need lesion cultures at this point if they suspect herpes as a cause of your symptoms but it really sounds like it's something else going on.
unless you get a + test result for herpes, not a whole heck of a lot more we can help you with.
The 1% per ASHA and Washington University Labatory test plus in Nov 16 u told me the 5% for Herpeselect and now u said WB!!!! Whats next????

Who said 1%?
If you are having a hard time believing in the tests accuracy, just get a swab during symptoms in the closest health departament. Plain simple. If the virus is in the lesion, the swab test will be positive.
So the WB has a 5% false negative not 1% now?
She meant the 5% figure is for the Western Blot test. It's a different type of blood test than the ELISA IgG and it's considered the gold standard.
I did not get what do u mean!!!!!!
May you explain?
Thank you.
it's for the WB actually.
I dont have insurance. I used to go to stds health department.
You didnt answer my question yet!!!
The 5% for all kind of blood test or just the herpeselect.
Thank you
it's not likely you are the 5%. be seen every time you have symptoms. a dermatologist is the best person to follow up on this with.
