Herpes possibility?

So last august, I had sex with a guy anally with no condom. About a month ago, he found out he has herpes. I don't know if he had it when we had sex. He did not cum in me or anything. I don't think I'm showing any symptoms, like there are no rashes or bumps. But I had sex with another guy about a week ago unprotected but it was vaginally. If I did catch herpes anally, can the guy I had sex with a week ago get it even though we didn't have sex anally? I'm going to go get checked soon, but does anyone know if this is possible??

Since you had unprotected sex, you really should cover your full std bases too and get tested for all of them.   Since you just had unprotected sex again a week ago, you can get tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea now. Wait 6 weeks for syphilis testing and 3 months for herpes, hiv and hepatitis testing. We recommend protected sexual contact because it works! Protect yourself as well as your future partners by only having protected sexual contact - oral, anal and/or genital with partners who are not long term monogamous partner's whose std status you are sure of :)

Just to clarify - when you are infected with genital herpes, the entire nerve ganglia that supplies the body below the waist is infected. If you only had anal sex, it's still going to be actively shedding periodically from your genitals as well as from your anal area.  So indeed, if you do have genital herpes, the partner in question would've potentially been at risk.

have you had your gardasil shots yet?

if you catch herpes in the genital area- then you can have reocuurences anywhere in the boxer short area. so yes, even if you actually caught it in your anus, you could still transmit it from your vagina. does that make sense?

yes it is possible for the new partner to have caught herpes from you vaginally, if in fact you do have herpes. the best thing to do would be to go and get tested asap. ask for an igg test.
