Herpes simplex 1

I was diagnosed with herpes simplex 1 on september 12th 2012 and negative for hiv after high risk exposure 5 weeks earlier. I have been getting flu like symptoms, some forms of rashes that dont go away(might have been there before but I didnt recognize them)I have gotten flu-like symtoms twice since exposure(no normal) can my herpes symptoms be indication of Hiv or do they have similar symptoms. please give me some insight

most adults will test + for hsv1. it's very common and for most folks it's an oral infection.  

your ongoing symptoms aren't related to herpes. are you following up on them with your provider?

i am in the same situation, i had a negative hiv blood test at 3 month and two weeks
but i realise i my leg like a herpes simplex, sometimes it take place in my lips and nose but why?

if i dont have hiv why it keep appearing on my body?

It was bllod test, not sure what it was exactly called
