Herpes symptoms ?
Hi , I recently had unprotected sex with a girl and herd a rumor after she might have herpes, I am on my 12 th day and no symptoms of blisters or rash or anything, I went and had blood work for HSV2 and am currently waiting for results, I am wondering if I was exposed to herpes would I be showing any kind of symptoms?
You should talk to the girl and ask her about her status. If she is unsure ask her to get tested. Maybe offer to lay for it if you can afford to

If you were going to get a primary outbreak it most likely would've happened by now. It can rarely take up to twwenty days but the vast majority will happen within the first week. Hsv blood testing needs to be done 12 weeks from exposure to be considered conclusive.
The odds are roughly 1 in a 1000 for any single exposure if she had hsv2

Thank you so much for the response back my anxiety has been killing me lately with all this, I am currently on my 20th day and no lesions or sores, the only thing I do have is in back of my left leg is sore, is that a symptom should I be worried at all ?
