herpes?

On Friday night I made a huge mistake and had protected intercourse with a stripper.  It lasted about 5 minutes and I am not totally sure the base of my penis was totally covered.  The condom was intact and looked fine after but I had also recently cut myself with a buzzer (Wednesday) and had 4 small scabs on my scrotum/base of penis.  I am checking myself 20 times a day intensively and wondering the possibility of herpes.  I am starting to feel tingling/itchy all over my body, not terrible but given my mental state very frustrating.  It isnt localized to any region (more itchy than tingly).  I still have no signs of sores, my glads are not swollen and I feel fine otherwise.

Could this total body tingling be herpes?  how long until sores form?  if the tiny scabs on my scrotum broke and got any fluids on them would that put me at a higher risk for herpes or even hiv?

thank you

Pain in the upper back is not associated with herpes.
It is possible to be infected with herpes and not notice sores.  If sores were to be noticed, they usually show up between 2 and 10 days after infection.

I have been tested for herpes ad always came up negative.  The scabs were from tanning that area on Wednesday, I remember it happening.

The itching/tingling wasn't there this morning and is very spuratic which makes me think it's in my head.

How long would it take for herpes symptoms I appear after tingling/itching starts generally?  If te scad did break but she wasn't shedding would vaginal fluid be able to transport herpes and HIV? ( scabs were 1/2 inch below the base of my penis).  I realize this is a guess but given protection, 5min, and possibility of scabs breaking how would u assess my risk level?

Thank you very much again or you time.

Condoms reduce the risk of transmission of herpes by about a third.  If the sores on the base of your penis broke at the time of the sexual contact, they would put you at more risk of acquiring both herpes and HIV, yes, though a five minute contact in itself, with a condom, is not very risk.

Do you distinctly remember the moment that you cut your scrotum with a razor sufficient to develop four scabs?  My point is, could you have had herpes all along, and didn't know it?  Have you ever had these scabs before?  Have you ever been tested before for herpes in the past?

All over itching is not consistent with genital herpes, no.

If you were my patient, I would suggest that you get a baseline herpes IgG antibody test now and see where you stand, then retest in 4 months.
