Herpes?

About 2.5 months ago, I had unprotected sex with another male. We performed oral sex on one another and attempted anal sex, he also performed oral sex to my anus as well. For the last 2 months at least, I have had a tingling sensation in my anus that will not go away. About a week and half after the encounter I had  a stiff neck and enlarged lymph node in the genital region. About 3 weeks after the encounter, the area became more inflamed and burned, though I could not see any blisters. The burning sensations lasted for about 2 weeks. At this same time, I also experienced and am still experiencing a rash around my eyes on my eyelids and around my nostrils. The skin got very inflamed and made my eyes bloodshot. I am also currently experiencing a sore throat now, which has been happening for the last 2 weeks. I know many of these fit under the classic signs of genital herpes, and I plan to get tested soon. However, I was wondering if it's normal for herpes to jump around to different parts of the body as what seems to be occurring in my situation and if it does, is it more likely to be the HSV 1 strain or HSV 2 strain.

Thanks.

best thing to do is to be seen.  odds are what's going on around your eyes is not related to what's going on around your anal area.

attempts at anal sex without lube can result in trauma to the area and issues too. you also can have a fungal infection on the anal area too.
