Herpes

Hi Doc,

Just wanted to post a quick question?  I had a small about of salvia contact in and around my penis at a strip club 12 days ago.  About 7 days after contact I began to feel that my inner thighs are burning up or ultra sensitive.  there are no visible marks or sores just the burning up feeling.  My body temp is normal.  I have gotten tests down yesterday and am awaiting the results.  Just going crazy with anxiety.  In your opinion can this be herpes?

none of this sounds like a herpes issue.

have you been seen yet by your provider if you are concerned?

Following up.  The burn in my thighs have subsided seems to really come on strong when my mind goes there and dissipates over time.  My face seems to be getting the same flush feeling...?  Hoping this all turns out to be the biggest case of anxiety ever.  The contact was her hand... i assume full of saliva.  Just a freak deal can't believe it a trip to a strip club has me at this point.  There is a question in there somewhere but a lot of venting.  No one to really talk to at this point.

Thanks.

Testing for herpes u have to wait 6 to 8 weeks... Unless you have a breakout then they swab the area and test it.... Sounds like you have thigh burn which is the thighs rubbing together almost feels like rug burn to some extent.... I hope this helps....
