Thank you very much for your answer - it is much appreciated. I do have HSV1 and HSV2. I had testing done of a cluster of HSV2 sores that I had - not a blood test. I did perform fellatio a "friend" who has HSV2 (no sores at the time that I could tell) about two - three years ago. I hope I am not one of the 3% of people that ends up with oral and genital HSV2. I still have a sore tongue, roof of my mouth and sore throat even nearly a week later. I am just so worried that I have infected my new male friend as it is certainly not something that I would want to do. I haven't spoken to him since last Thursday and I am too scared too in case I have infected him. I did not have any sores or any symptoms at the time, however did have the day after.
Hi, if your question is do you have hsv2 oral, the answer would be its really not possible. Of course only testing would confirm this but the reasons are many.
First, since you have hsv2 genital ping ponging it to another part of your body the chance would be close to zero. You might have hsv1 oral as many do. Have you blood tested for both and what test did you take to confirm you have hsv2 genital.
1. You have strong antibodies that would help prevent this.
2. Hsv2 prefers the genital ganglion.
