Herpes? No lessions 2 weeks

I am a 27 year old male and had a single encounter outside of my marriage with a 34 year old woman. Stupidly unprotected oral and vaginal and kissing about 15 min total.
It has been 2 weeks and I've been freaking out and anxiety is taking over me.
I had a std test about 9 days after exposure and doctor also did a blood test for herpes. all came back negative but i know its too early to tell.

I have no real reason to think the person of the encounter had herpes its unknown to me if she did.

Ive had burning sensation on my bottom lip on the right corner but no outbreaks for about 10 days it comes and goes. For how long should i lookout for outbreaks? I saw on other post that if you don't get outbreaks in 18 days to 3 weeks you should be free of herpes but I'm not sure.

Would really appreciate thoughts on my situation.

Definitely will test at 3 months but its extremely difficult to be 3 months with a doubt and anxiety.

If anyone knows if Im supposed to have lesions or outbreaks would help me greatly

Hi, you fall into a low risk group. Those most at risk are in long term mono relationships where one partner is infected. No outbreaks after 2 weeks is a good indicator but for your wifes protection test at the 3 month mark for her protection.
