Do I have herpes?

Male - 29 years old - healthy. I had unprotected sex recently and noticed a bump on the base of my penis shaft about a week later. There is actually 2. The larger one is still small (like the size of a tiny Pearl) it is painless and is red. It is irritated when touched or rubbed up against. It is under the skin (no lesions or breaks) and seems to feel semi hard inside (still squishy). There is another red bump right next to it, but it's very small, fairly flat and painless - also red. I did shave a couple of weeks back, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I'm really hoping it's not herpes? I'm planning on getting tested, but how likely is this for herpes? Thanks in advance.

Update:

I now have 2 more lumps in my pubic region. They are more flat and larger. Kind of irritate a bit... But no serious pain. They are red and fairly spread apart. Under the skin still. No rupture and no signs of rupturing soon. Is this a common symptom of herpes?

Thanks for the reply! I feel a bit relieved, although I'm still a bit nervous for my exam to get tested this week. Is herpes never presented under the skin? I just find it strange that this would occur fairly soon after having unprotected sex. She told me she was clean, but with this episode I'm starting to have doubts. It doesn't really itch or hurt, but it's kind of irritating - mostly because it's been on my mind I think. It is a rather strange bump though, I've never had one like this before.

Hi, if she did not have any vaginal sores at the time the risk would be close to zero from a one time affair. Does what your describing appear as a herpes outbreak? No it does not. Herpes are not under the skin bumps but topical open blister or razor type cuts and are not hard  but soft. It really appears more fungal related from shaving but only testing would confirm this.
