is this herpes

I have a girlfriend who has hsv 2. I passed it to her orally I think, because I had a cold sore in my mouth & we had oral sex. So we have sex unprotected all the time and out of no where(a couple months after she got diagnosed) I got this red blister on my sac, and it's swollen too. Is this an outbreak? My friend told me its chlamydia, because your ''balls' shouldn't get swollen during an outbreak. but my girlfriend and I never had chlamydia. We've both been tested before. I'm so confused. Is it possible mine got swollen and this is a herpes outbreak??? please help

Your gf needs to confirm if her lesion culture was just + for herpes or + for hsv2.  If it was just + for hsv then she'll need additional testing to figure out what type it is. It's not always hsv2 just because it's below the belt.  If it's only been a week or two since the culture was done she can ask her provider to contact the lab they use and order it to be typed if they didn't do so already.

She was tested from her lesions...like she was having her first outbreak and had all the terrible symptoms along with that..like 104 fever, body aches, nausea, etc....I never had anything like that along with this. She didn't have a blood test though.

How was your girlfriend tested for herpes? Did a doctor take a swab of a lesion in her genital area? Did she have a blood test?

If you passed herpes to your girlfriend orally, she would have genital HSV1, not type 2. It is very very unlikely that you have type 2 orally. It's just really rare.

You need to have a testicular exam. It's hard to say what this is that you are describing. This isn't Chlamydia, though.

Have both of you been tested for herpes? Or were you tested for only Chlamydia?
