Absolutely terrified- Please help

Hello,
Today I accidently took a sip off of my friend's drink. She does NOT currently have a cold sore and I've never seen her with one. I do not know if she has the virus. How likely is it to get herpes if someone doesn't have an active cold sore? Please help. I'm terrified and can't even think straight.

Thank you for the reply! It still isnt likely even if she had taken a sip a minute or 2 before?

I was tested in April and tested negative.

This is as close to zero as it gets. You'll be hit by the downtown bus long before you ever get infected this way.

Are you sure you do not already have the HSV1 virus, it is more likely than not that you do.
