How to avoid herpes tranmission

Hi,
I have hsv 2 igG 1.9 (doctor said its low possitive). I dont have any symptoms from last 7 years and  not even single outbreak . Now I want to marry a lady who dont have any STD or herpes.
  How to avoid herpes tranmission to my partner?  Can i have kids if i have hsv 2 igG 1.9?
  Please not that what are the precautions i need to take for not transmitting my hav 2 to my loved ones.I had a date with a girl only 1 time (7 years back) surly i dont want be do rong thing again . so please  provide me suggestions   for   avoid herpes tranmission

I have absolutely nothing to add from my prior responses. you first have to confirm your status before worrying about transmission.
