I have a reoccuring blister on my top lip?

I keep getting this blister right to the left of the center of my top lip. It leaves for 2 weeks or so and then it comes back, its rough and scabby and then falls off from friction and is itchy. There are no other spots like this on my face, just this spot. I have only kissed my girlfriend in the past 4 months so I don't think its herpes cause she doesnt have that. Does anyone know whats up?

It could be herpes that you got from sharing a drink, as a child, or in a situation you'll probably never figure out.

It could also be an allergic reaction, something called cheilitis, or a host of other things. You should definitely get it checked out.
