Usually anything inside the mouth is a canker sore and is not contagious. It is rare for someone to have type 2 orally and is harder to transmit that way in the very small chance they did have it orally.
Thanks. She didn't have any cold sores on her mouth. As for inside of her mouth, i am unsure. Do you have any info about HSV-2?
Also, if you have HSV-1 orally, as does most of the population, it is extremely difficult to get it genitally.
I believe it is fairly low risk in the absence of a sore on her lips.
