IS HERPES ZOSTER SAME AS HERPES 2
I've been doing a little research. It seems that herpes zoster is different from herpes 2. Does anyone know if they are 2 different things. If they are different, does anyone know if it is possible to be misdiagnosed with herpes 2 when it is reeally herpes zoster. From what I've read, the two seem different and can be contracted differenty.
Well if hubby isn't testing + for hsv2 then you got it from someone else. Contracting it and not being aware of it for many years is more common than having obvious symptoms as soon as you are infected.

I think I stated in an my first letter, or maybe it was on a dr. forum, back in 2001, both my husband and I had sex with another. I with a man, and he with a woman. One time. Neither of us had any symtpoms of any sort for all these years, 7 years. So, no I don't think herpes came from those episodes 7 years ago. That is why I am so upset. My husband lies about many things, everythng, but he says he would never lie about something like this.. Maybe I should just forget about the whole thing and move on. I had 2 out breaks at two separate times after having sex with my husband. And we only had sex maybe 2 or 3 times last year. And only 1 x since July.
As look back over his test it was Igg and the level for herpes 2 was.Less than .91. That was in July. I first had an outbreak in Dec. The reason I am so isistent is because I did not have sex with anyone els. He has had very questionable behavior, I have not. I've been home with my children. I don't know what to think if his next test comes back negative. He's already accusing me of having affairs. I just don't understand. The only thing I did differently waa have a braziliax wax 2 weeks before and then I shaved myself clean the night we had sex. The doctor says that did not leave me vulnerable. But I don't know. We were at a point in working out our marriage and then this. I found out that he went out and had "one" beer with a sexy, 20 yrs younger than me girl who has a fondness for older marriend men. That is why I have so many questions.

In rereading your other posts here I see you just seem insistant that your hubby had to have had hsv2 first and then given it to you. You seem to be in denial that you could've had it first. Why is that?
Did your hubby ever get an igg test done after his igm ?
