IgG test results

Last weekend, I developed a cluster of bumps on my scrotum. On Monday, I went to a specialist and she said she was "pretty" sure it wasn't herpes. She didn't take a culture. I still wasn't certain so I went to my PCP and had bloodwork done and asked for a second opinion. She said the same, but at this stage, a sufficient culture couldnt be conducted.

Fast forward to now and I've got the IgG results pulled up.
3.45 type 1
.05 type 2

Now I wish Doctor 1 would've taken a culture. I was expecting HSV2 or nothing. Could it be HSV1 below the belt? An initial HSV2 outbreak and I need further testing in a few months? Nothing at all?

I don't know what to do with this information. Please help.

Life can you explain a false + by testing too early?

Hi, the hsv1 just falls into the false positive range as any number 3.5 and below would need retesting. A false positive can  occur  from testing to early. However the scrotum is not a common area for outbreaks as the skin is to thick.
Since first time outbreaks occur at point of contact, if any recent affair your scrotum did not make rubbing contact with either lips or genital areas then for sure its not herpes.
Re test at 3 months post any exposure or 8 weeks as a good indicator.
