Please excuse me for my questions, I need some opinion and I am unable to see doctors all the time.
I have been tested positive for herpes exposure within the last 28 days. It has been close to 6 weeks with an exposure of oral sex. I have had a sore throat 3 weeks ago slowly developed neck pain stiff neck and now slightly inflamed neck gland. I have not had fevers or any visible sore but occasional rashes in my shoulders like I always had as a kid. Please advise will primary herpes virus infection. In the body cause other flu like illness like meningitis or infectious monocluosis. My shoulder/ neck tingling seems to be nerve related and I am worried

One more question and it would be great if you can clarify, I did not want to create a new thread and just wanted to continue with this. It has been like 15.2 weeks post exposure and this time I took a test only for IgG antibodies for HSV 1 and HSV 2 and both came back as undetected. My doc was suprised and mentioned he has nothing to say but asked me to be happy and not worry about it and come back if i ever got any lesions. Now 12 weeks ago, I had Igm positive and IgG negative now still IgG negative...can i move on without any fear...please advise.....

you have several posts going now which is what makes it confusing for other posters when responding to your posts as well as time consuming for all since it means we have to go check for your prior posts and glance through them.
you need to be following up on any symptoms you are concerned about with your provider. You've asked about hiv previously in the hiv forum. you didn't contract hiv from this so don't keep thinking these are ars symptoms. you also didn't contract a std from this.
your anxiety is the issue. call your provider monday and follow up on your current symptoms as well as ask for a referral to a professional to talk to to start working on the anxiety part of all of this too. You are driving yourself nuts about this and really not everything is std related.

About 5 weeks ago I visited a massage
Parlor where there was full boy slide and oral relief....a bit drunk but I was sure she inserted a condom using her mouth but she also used her hand for hand relief not sure why she did that...as I said before never had vaginal sex with any girl in my life.......
I had tingling for a few days but stopped when doc gave ne Famvir....3 weeks post incident developed sore throat for four days and that stopped then developed neck pain right behind my throat then stopped once that stooped slightly inflamed nodes me not a doc but I felt I had gland pain in neck and throat....now that has stopped but I have tingling and neck stiffness around left collar bone and shoulder neck joint slightly swollen skin around that area compared to right side shoulder....now not sure if all these are anxiety or ARS symptoms...I called three different sexual infoline an all three advised not testing required as risk was either not there or very low....so far no fever but when I search I Internet it sounds like either meningitis or multiple scerlosis again thisis when I feel I am anxious and irrational but trust me guys symptoms are there and I am not making it up...whether STD related or non STD related is something I am leaving it GOD....pray for me...I don't have a family or relatives to get comfort from so depend on well wishers like you all.....

Tingling alone is not a symptom of any STD. However, it can be manifested by anxiety.
What was your "exposure"?
Agree with mistakeguy, unless you had lesions that were swabbed and positive for herpes, there would be no test that would tell you your symptoms are in fact herpes.
None of your other symptoms sound at all herpes related.

Thanks for your comment. I am not sure too but post exposure about 12 days I had tingling in my genitals that's all. Infect I have an appointment for another complete sexual health check up soon. Do you think my symptoms are other sex related infections or other health related infections? Sometimes looking at ARS symptoms freaks me out. I had a blood test done I think serology I hope it was a false positive. I have never had vaginal intercourse with any girl so far but been to massage joints a few times. I learnt a Lessing purely from this tension and fear now and never again to any of these activities. I hope I dont have any infections.

I am assuming you are not in the US. Your profile shows that you are in Austrilia. There are some good health clinics out there. I am not sure how in the world you were told you tested positive from an exposure. I am assuming (you can confirm) that the testing was an IgM test. If so then your testing was not properly done. You will need an IgG type specific test.
The symptoms you are having don't sound like herpes. Be seen by your doctor for a proper work up.
