Help with medications side effects please

I had a herpes scare last month with mouth sores and inflamed mouth. It's been a month and I got a rash on my neck and they said it was shingles and probably unrelated to HSV. I got tested for HSV this week and get my results on Wednesday apparently after a nurse told me yesterday everything came out negatibe the doctor some of the tests haven't came back yet. She told me to take Famciclovir and my stomach been destroyed. The rash is improving but it's killing my stomach. From what I read it shouldn't be this bad should I continue taking the medication? I can't contact the doctor because the clinic is closed on the weekends please help especially with the long weekend!

Do what you want. If it's "destroying your stomach" then it seems like a no brainer to me.
