Can this be herpes?

I received oral sex from a female friend almost three (July 2007) years ago. At that time I do not recall seeing any lesions on her mouth. Since then I have gotten married. I have never had intercourse with anyone but my wife...ever. Since December of 2007  I've been getting these tear like lesions on the right side of my penis about twice a year. They show up and then they go away in a day or two. I spoke with this friend and she states that she had a cold sore on her lips 19 years ago and that she never had one again. Which I don't know is true or not. Could I have gotten herpes from this event?

you won't just be seeing symptoms now from something 3 years ago.

follow up on these with your doctor or a dermatologist the next time they are there.

did your wife have any partners prior to you?

Yes....my wife had partners before me. The lesions only last a day or two at the most. I saw my doc today and she did a blood test. I had the lesions Sunday and byTuesday they were gone.
