herpes hsv1

Hi there i have hsv1 genetally and orally, first got genetally and then infected myself whilst shedding. I have just met a new partner who kind of knows my situation although I have not had sex with her yet and have not yet told her I have it genetally. She has had coldsores in the past from childhood. I am 3 months post exposure and my body is starting to feel normal again. i just wanted to be able to give her some information and also educate myself;

- Is there a high chance of me passing the virus on genetally to her or is using condoms all the time necassary.(excuse my spelling)
- how long does it actually take for you body to take complete control, noting that i dont drink, smoke and try to live an active life. Or actually build up a good amount of antibodies to control the virus.
- i started to get headaches prior getting herpes hsv1 and wondered if there was any connection.
- isit ok for her to give me oral.

Thanks

Jason

ok jason let's start at the beginning since this is different information than you posted last month.

what testing did you have done that came back as hsv1+?

also it's really helpful when you just keep adding to your original post instead of making new ones. saves me from having to go find your other posts and read thru them. thanks!

I believe if you dont have any signs of an ob you should be ok,Its sad that hsv1 can get on the genitals,and you can infect yourself! there is a lot of information out there you should educate yourself! im not saying that to be mean either, a lot of people dont know that  u can get the hsv1 anywhere else but the lips and that people can spread it themselves from their own body. i myself get cold sores and when i do i wash my hands before and after i use the restroom,dont let anyone drink from me im very cautious,and ill tell u why! My sister had gotten a cold sore she has 2 lil boys under the age 5,lil kids love chapstick,lipgloss ect! smells good taste good,well  one of her lil boys was using her chapstick sticking his fingers on the top of it rubbing it on his lips my sister wasnt thinking anything of it,couple weeks later he starts screaming and crying when he sat on his bike seat,she just thought he pinched himself ( or sat on the seat wrong and pinched his testies,but he kept complaing so she checked,and to her shock he had lil blisters on his penis,so ofcourse she runs him o his doc and the first thing he said is looks like herpes,she was like hahaha whatever,so he goes and gets another doctor in the office and he says the same thing! she was devastated, freaked out and beside herself,wanting to know who the hell it is shes gonna kill!! no joke,well they tested him and it came back positive for hsv1! lil boys play with everything and what happened was his mom had a cold sore was using chapstick he grabbed it used it put his fingers on it,then prob went to the bathroom,or lil boys his age might of just had his hands in his pants and there u go!! now he has hsv1 at 4 years old!! its sad but people need to know the ones on the lip can go to the genitals!! also a female reg papsmear or check up,does not check for herpes,many females seem to think it does,it actually doesnt check for any stds unless you ask!! and herpes test is completely a test on its own! it has to be requested! so if a female says i have had my yearly im good/clean!!  dont believe it unless they say they had the herpes blood test!!
