could it be herpes?

After having an IUD implanted I started having vaginal pain, was diagnosed with BV. Finished antibiotics still had pain. Went to the doctors no infection. Yeast or bacterial. Also no chlamydia or ghonerea. This pain has been constant for three months. Have seen 6-7 doctors for pelvic exams and no sores or lesions. What is it???

Herpes really doesn't act this way. I wish you the best and hope your dr can figure this out.

Sorry last question. At times it's felt like icy hot on my vagina is this a herpes type pain? And it's been the whole vagina not just a spot or so.. Again thank you for your help.

Thank you, Thank you so much for your answer. I had the IUD/paragard removed 9/8/17  because urgent care thought it could be exactly that, but still have the pain. A burn, ache, nerve kinda feel. Also in my legs I had a poke kinda feeling. That has gone but the vaginal pain I still have everyday just this week it's not all day. That is what led me to suspect herepes only after googling..

It's definitely not hsv. You would not have constant pain for months. Surely there would be lesions or paper cuts as well. My guess is your body doesn't like the IUD.
