"Papercut" Herpes

Hello.

So I had 1 time experience that was protected with a male -- condom broke --- immediately fixed situation. He has had no problems but not been STD tested latley. Here is my question. I have been misdiagnosed with HSV in past and know that I am 100% negative. I got fully tested a week after possible exposure and everything negative. Now, I'm in the waiting period and completely getting scared.

I'm currently having protected sex with a different partner who is definitely negative. I have not had many partners, mostly because I get scared. I woke up and have a straight single 3/4 inch paper cut on my inner bum cheek, no swelling or redness around it. I have been itchy lately partly do to freaking out and thinking about it. But when they say Herpes outbreak can be paper cut like......Is that multiple paper cuts? If this heals in a day and I get no blisters can I worry less? I know these are silly questions but I'm trying to watch for any signs? Today would be the 21st day since possible exposure and I was just curious how apparent my first outbreak would be? I know no one has a definitive answer. I'm just trying to worry a little less and be very responsible. Thanks so much.

Current Partner Has. Past Hasn't and I don't think I want to really discuss this with him. I don't think its Vaginitas, I think its standard dry skin from winter. I know I'm being paranoid. I just wish the tests were sooner than 12 weeks. I would pay all the money I could to have it.

I just got freaked out by the papercut --- which is already healing. I think I might have accidentally scratched myself in my sleep. Getting Misdiagnosed made me very paranoid about STD's. Am I correct in thinking that its pretty hard to contract from a one time experience? I was reading statistics and I read that it was 10% transmission rate in couples where the male had it and was responsible during breakouts. Thanks for the response.

The best thing to do is to see your provider to have these symptoms looked at. You have symptoms of itching prior to this so you very well could have a vaginitis going on that needs treated.

Have you asked your last partner if he was tested for herpes and other std's to know his status? if you are really worried, offer to pay for testing as long as he promises to share his results with you.  Same with has your current partner had testing done?
