Herpes other parts pf body

Recently had a sexual encounter where the other person kissed and moved their tongue around on my (hairy) chest area. I dont know what their history is. Is there a chance of herpes being transmitted to my body through this activity?

No, the skin is too thick for the virus to penetrate. Herpes is transmitted by kissing, oral, vaginal and anal sex. The mouth,  genitals and anal areas are all mucus membranes - the thinner, moist skin - and the virus can penetrate that.
