Is my 3 month- long tingling/burning/tenderness HSV symptoms or something else?

Hello everyone,
I'm new to the community here and full of questions.
First off, almost two months ago March 17th I began experiencing vaginal burning I assumed to be BV or yeast since I've had both a few times in the past. I was prescribed  Diflucan, and sent on my way. Two days later, my symptoms came back, and through a series of more exams, Diflucan, etc, I still wasn't any better. To top it off, I began experiencing burning that extended to my anal region, making wiping very painful. While all the symptoms eventually subsided, the longest I ever felt 100% would be 2-3 days at the most, followed by a half day of minimal discomfort that would eventually disappear. Fast forward to two months later, I'm still experiencing the same weird combination of these symptoms, sometimes all day, sometimes for only a few minutes. I had an IgG blood test that gave a very LOW positive for HSV2 as well as positive for HSV1 (I've had cold sores for years so I wasn't surprised). I tried taking Valtrex as well a step acyclovir and they have not relieved these symptoms. All the while I have no bumps, blisters, or rashes. Any ideas? I've been so discouraged and confused...

I had very similar symptoms to you also minus the very painful wiping, and I tested positive for HSV 1 but negative for HSV2. Now I'm unsure where the HSV lies, genitally or orally since I didn't have normal herpes symptoms

I would recommend to go see a urologist. I tested positive for type 1 and my lip tingles when it's shedding. However when I go pee it burns sometimes and wiping can be a bit uncomfortable. Cervix swabs came back negative and so did urine. So maybe you're like me and the problem lies within your urinary tract

To never have had lesions this whole time. Not gonna happen. The wbole symptoms minus ledions is much less common than thr internet leads people to believe.

That's what I've been thinking. If any of these symptoms were "prodrome," they wouldn't be lasting this long. I'm beginning to feel much of it is psychosomatic.

I seriously doubt hsv. In the absence of lesions it's very unrealistic that hsv is the cause. Plus thats just to long for hsv symptoms to linger.

HSV doesn't always have to have lesions, but to have pretty much non stop symptoms seems so odd to me.
I too have experienced some pins and needles feeling also described as tingling. On my bottom, lower back, and occasionally my thighs. It lasted the whole 30 days but no lesions, blisters, or outbreaks of any kind. My results were negative 30 days after my risk exposure. What I found interesting was my index was .712 but two years ago during a routine physical my hsv2 igg index value was .532

Your low positive caught my interest. Please share if it does increase or decrease or develop any physical changes on your skin.

Sorry, to clarify, it should say 2 months in the title and I've tried both Valtrex AND acyclovir, seemingly unsuccessfully.
