Is this an outbreak

I know I have two areas on my body where I have noticable outbreaks with blisters and lesions.  One on my upper lip and one just above my labia at the bottom of my pubic hair line.  Sometimes after having intercourse I notice that I get a couple of small cuts at my vaginal opening.  What is the chance that those are herpes related?  I'm hoping they are just from friction during intercourse?

Yes, I was tested 6 yrs ago when I got pregnant with my daughter.  At that time I didn't know what type it was.  I do know that when I first started dating my ex-husband about 12 yrs ago he had a large blister on his bottom lip.  Little did I know at that time that it was some sort of herpes.  Wish I did.  At least I got two beautiful girls from it.  I divorced him 2 yrs ago.  Can HSV 1 oral herpes turn into large lesions on your mouth or is it likely that that is HSV 2.

Have you been tested for Herpes ? If not I would advise that you do so,from the description of your outbreaks it is possible that you have both HSV1 and HSV2 the small cuts may be related although I am inclined to think that is from friction as that particular area of skin on some women is very weak and cuts are not typical of Herpes which presents more like a cluster of small fluid filled blisters ......
When you get tested the best time to do it is when you have an active outbreak in either area but since you have lesions on 2 separate areas have both areas cultured so that you know if you have one type of Herpes or both ...... it may be that you have neither but I ceratinly would suggest type specific testing of your lesions when they appear again ....
