The way the lab your provider uses reports with results isn't helpful for deciding if additional testing is needed or not. As I said, at this point in your pregnancy confirming a false positive isn't something we can accurately do. Until proven otherwise, assume you have hsv2 genitally and talk to your obgyn about precautions. The herpes handbook at www.westoverheights.com has more info on pregnancy and herpes for further reading.
Wait about 3 months or so after you've delivered for follow up testing. You need to wait for your body to return to it's more normal state for the blood tests to be helpful at this point :( Also has your partner been tested?

I have never had any outbreaks of any sort such as sore.
MY TEST IS AS FOLLOWSherpes1,2 IgG ANTIBODY 0813607030 BLOOD
HSV1 IgG POSITIVE REFERENCE NEGATIVE
HSV2 IgG POSITVE REFERENCE NEGATIVE
At this point it's too late to do any additional blood testing. It might not be accurate in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy. I will gladly look at your blood test results for you if you can get them and post them here - ie hsv1 igg 6. 3 and hsv2 igg 2. 8 or whatever they are for you but there's little we can do at this point.
Have you and your obgyn discussed taking precautions for genital herpes for the last month of pregnancy at this point? At this point it's better to assume you do have it and take full precautions and then sort out a potential false positive result a few months from now.

The IgG was type-specific meaning that it could only detect the hsv. So you are positive for that. If you had the non-type specific test done that detects IgM, then it would have picked up the chicken poxs.
Since must people don't know when they aquired hsv then you might want to talk to your ob-gyn about possible exposure to the baby. But if you had hsv before becoming pregnant it shouldn't be an issue for the baby.
