What are the real odds of contracting herpes from a single encounter(protected) with a sex worker(stupid me) and lets for the sake of argument assume the worst case scenario

you have your gender listed as female. since you say you have a scrotum, perhaps you want to change it?

yes if you were infected when you had sex with the sex worker and had sex the next day, you could've infected your partner.

at this point you need to go and be seen and get a proper exam done to find out what is going on.

Ok last question and then I will stop ,promise Would it have been possible to pass the infection to my unprotected partner the day after my exposure? I have since broken up with her so I wont give her anything. I am a heel I know, I just am worried I passed it to her

Thank you for answering my question grace. How does that break down into a single 1 time encounter? I dont mean to belabor the point ,just a little freaked out and yes I will go to the doctor and get tested ASAP so I can have piece of mind.

if you had sex with a female hsv2+ sex worker 2x/week for an entire year, you being male would have on average a 4% of contracting hsv2 from her as long as you avoided sex anytime she had symptoms.
