Just need answers about HERPES 1 & 2

I have never seen symptoms until recently and even still I am unsure if these are herpes symptoms due to being diagnosed with UTI. Never had lesions or sores but now I think I might have a lesion but I cant really tell it looks NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING AT ALL like those horrendous pictures from the internet even the mildest cases.
QUESTIONS:
Could I have went 6 years without having an outbreak?
Is this even an outbreak?
I told the doc I was diagnosed but he said its from UTI but how do I really know he only did urine test???
Any cost effective medications for herpes I am going to clinic today?
Whats the difference between the testing for herpes?
Could I have gotten a false positive on both or is that highly unlikely??

You really cannot go forward here without the actual results of that blood test. If this isn't possible then seek through your doctor or clinic an IgG antibody test type specific or HSV1 and HSV2.

I would not be taking antivirals without a confirmed diagnosis of HSV.

Chances are this is not herpes at all, but elimination here as a cause is within your reach. If you are having unprotected sex, then it may be worthwhile asking this current guy to test in order to understand his status.

I got tested a while back in 2007 after a guy called and said he might have something. This is only thing that the nurse said was inconclusive all other testing was negative. Since it had been over 2 weeks since I had sex with the guy she assured me that I shouldnt worry because I had no symptoms but could I have had it before him without any symptoms and this is 6 years later I think its an outbreak but went to ER and MDO said he has never seen a case where there is no pain. He was able to swab with no pain and he states i only have 2 spots that are one on each side which he has also never seen. I am just really scared and confused I am on acyclovir now 3x a day.

Hi, if youve never been tested for herpes and think you have it then get tested. Either a swab of a new sore taken within 48 hours after appearence or an igg type specific blood test.
