Married 9 years and now I have herpes

Married 9 years and all the sudden I come up with herpes.  My husband went to Vegas and a few days later was complaining of a UTI and puss and blood coming from his penis.  We had used a sex lotion a few days prior to that and he said it had to be from that.  Approx 3 weeks later, I come up with a fever, Yeast infection (horrible) and went and got over the counter yeast infection medicine.  Thought I had gotten the yeast infection from HIS taking antibiotics as  he had to them for 14 days.  He never had any other symptoms.  As times goes on I get a sore (which I think is an ingrown hair from waxing).  Approx. 3 years later I was telling a friend about my ingrown hair and how it hurts.  She told me to go to the Dr. as it could be herpes.  I went to the Dr. and was tested positive for Herpes 1 and 2.  Of course I asked my husband what he did in Vegas 3 years prior and he said, I don’t have any symptoms.  He went to the Dr. and tested negative.  It was his primary Dr.   He has been tested again and still shows negative.  Since then I have found he has been on Ashley Maddison  (affair website), Naked photo’s from a female worker, viewing porn and now I questions what really has been going on.  I assumed I had gotten the herpes from waxing.  Can he only have one UTI and test negative.  When  I recently went to the Dr. for herpes medicine (was having breakouts from all the stress of my recent finds) and she said he could test negative but still have

Grace,

I had no idea I had herpes, I thought it I was getting ingrown hairs.  I waited for 3 years before I finally had a blood test.  I went to my OBGYN and they did a blood test (not sure what kind).  My husband went and got a blood test from his primary care Dr.(3 yrs later when I found out I had it) and shows negative (not sure what kind of blood test he had).  When he came home from Vegas (not sure how many days later 2 -10?) he had a UTI with discharge/blood and thought he had a UTI from a lotion we used. He went to his primary care Dr. and they gave him antibiotics and for his UTI and his glans were swollen (neck area)  He had to take 2 doses (14 days)  Within a few weeks, I have flue like symptoms and a very bad yeast infection that I thought I got from him from the antibiotics he was taking.  When I found out I had it (3 years later) his first words were he does not have any symptoms.  My Dr. said he could have a false negative and that if I had it I would of known when I had my daughter.   My husband states that I must have had it previously (I had been with only him for 9 yrs.  And our daughter was 7 at the time).  This has been a very stressful event in our marriage and all he says to me is he does not have it!  We had sex all the time including the time I had the yeast infection and I did not know I had Herpes and he still shows no sign of it.

Again I took it that I may of had it previously but have recently found other alarming evidence that he is not faithful. (Photo's of a co-worker naked and he was going into her email/facebook account).

let's start at the beginning - what testing have you both had done? if you had type specific herpes igg blood testing, I'll gladly take a look at your test results if you want to post them here - e.g. hsv1  igg 7.9 and hsv2 igg 4.9 or whatever they are.

you won't get herpes from waxing.
