Might I have herpes

Ok so I've been married for 6 years and we where together for 2 years prior to marriage. So thats 8 years I've been 100% faithful. Now 8 months ago I was sentenced to 180days in jail. I spent 4 months in jail before getting released. Two weeks after getting out I get what I call open sores on the head of my penis. I did notice about 4 years ago some outbreaks of what looked like small blisters on the under side of the shaft of my penis. I thought I was jerking of to much. But that only lasted for maybe a couple months and it only happened like 3 times. Now my wife admits to giving a guy a handjob and a lap dance then came home and did the same to me. We have both moved past that mistake. But now after getting out of jail in the last 4 months I have gotten these open sores that are only on the head of my penis. I have a Dr. apt for tuesday and I'm worried that I might have herpes. Is it possible to get herpes from a lapdance and handjob if the guy had herpes. Or is it possible one of use have had herpes for years and ever knew.

Well I'm sorry I posted the pics. But thank you for a repose. I have an appointment like I said with my DR so I will see what he says. I think you skin lesions I have now will still be there when I go. But like I said this is the third time sense my release that this has happened and its only been 4 months.

odds are that neither you nor your partner have ever been tested for herpes before to know your status. make sure you both seek out type specific herpes igg blood testing to see who has what and go from there.

tuesday is far too late for a lesion culture and typing to be done to get you fast and easy answers if they suspect herpes as a cause of your symptoms.

we don't look at pictures here and it's against medhelp's policy to post pictures of genitals too.
