My problem

Here is my problem.  Within a week period I had sex with two strippers. This was in late December and early January.  The first one I had sex with, the condom broke while inside of her.  I realized it within a minute or so.  She also gave me unprotected oral sex.  The second girl I had sex with the condom came completely off inside of her.  I realized it within a minute of it happening.  She also gave me unprotected oral sex.  Within days of my second encounter I started feeling a slight burn when I would urinate.  I also felt discomfort around my anus.  It wasent too painful and I never went to the doctor about it.  About three weeks later a red rash formed underneath the head of my penis and on the edge of the head.  It was not very painful but was sensitive.  I still felt a little burning when I would urinate.  No blisters or visible sores formed.  I went and got tested over three weeks from my second exposure.  Blood and urine.  I came back negative for everything, herpes included.  A week after the test I went to a doctor because my skin was still sensitive.  The doctor said it didn't look like herpes and she tested me for herpes and the STDs again.  THey came back negative again.  The redness and sensitivity lasted for almost 4 weeks and finally went away in Feb. after be around in one form or another for 4 weeks.  Two days ago in March, I felt  some discomfort around my anus but could not see a sores of blisters.  Then yesterday, redness and sensitivity returned to my penis but this time more higher then before and its on the head of my penis.  The opening of my penis also seems to be red.  No blisters and sores yet.  I have a scheduled appointment with the doctor for monday.  That was the earliest I could get.  I'm not looking for direct answers but opinions.  I know the doctor and test decides what I have.  I am very worried and stressing out.  I have settle on the fact that I believe I have herpes because of the symptoms and where they are.  This has obviously never happened to me before so that is why I am very worried.  I believe it to be a viral disease because it went away and came back.  Any thoughts??

no hydrocortisone cream!!  it can be very irritating to our delicate anal skin!

I'd apply the antifungal cream to your anal area too. not unusual to have yeast there too.

You need to work with your doctor.  Seeing your doctor next week isn't a good idea when you have active symptoms that need to be looked at.  This could be anything going on.  Be seen by your provider.

A little update.  I went to the doc and she said it looks like yeast and gave me some cream to put on it.  I have since been applying.  The same day I went to see the doc, my anus started to feel more sore but it wasent enough for me to show her at the time.  Today I looked at my anus and it is very red around it.  Maybe 1 inch around my anus.  No blisters or sores that I can see but it it very red and tender.  Could this be related.  Its a shame I didn't show this to the doc.  I have an other appointment scheduled next week for a follow up.  A question I have, if you have herpes can there be symptoms in two different places?? Like on the anus and penis or will it only be on one place??  Does this sound like anal herpes?? I have never had anal sex before, which I know does not always matter.  I also have some hydrocortisone.  Should I apply it to my anus region to see if it clears up??Thanks

Fungal infections can heal and come back.  It can happen after your inital outbreak yes.  But the symptoms more fit fungal then herpes.

Thanks for the response grace.  If it was a fungal infection, would it disappear and come back though??  The doctor did give me a anti biotic in which it was only one pill that I did take. I was also think of a yeast infection. I have to do more research on it though.   Is having an outbreak only two weeks after the first one clearing up common or does it all depend on the person?? thanks again

I'd be thinking more along the lines of a fungal infection than herpes myself. following up on this properly is the best course of action.

herpes igg blood testing isn't accurate until at least 3 months after the last time you had sex.
