Ghsv1 please help

Hey have a few questions :)

If you have had ghsv1 for almost 5 years only primary outbreak nothing after that what are the odds of spreading it to someone?

How long is it potent for?

Is it possible to not shead at all with an outbreak I read only 25% people do with ghsv1?

If you have cold sores without outbreak what are chances spreading that ?

What percentage of people on there 20s in Aus get cold sores?

Potent? Not really but contagious.

Much harder to spread but the virus can shed when no symptons are present. This means the virus is at the surface. For oral hsv1 this happens 10-15% of days on average.

If no cold sore is present is it hard to spread

Genital hsv1 is very rarely spread due to (as you know) few to no outbreaks and cery low shedding rates. This means you are umvery unlikely to spread genital hsv1.

Statistics aren't really known as there hasn't been studys done on genital hsv1. No money in it.

Cold sores are an outbreak and and very easy to spread when an active cold sore is present.

There is no stats on the percentage. Roughly half have oral hsv1 but no idea how many actually get cold sores. The stats are always ballpark as many people don't get cold sores or genital outbreaks that have hsv.
