Need some help!

Hi, i was told yesterday that i am positive for genital herpes but she said that there is like a 35% chance that the test is wrong so i took another blood test ...therefore she never really got into the issue...she said to wait for the results again...but im freaking out now so i have a lot of questions: I have no symptoms...can i still give it to someone else? do i have to have preotected sex for the rest of my life...oral also?  Will i develop symptoms in the future or is it possible to stay asymptomatic? Is it normal that the test could be wrong( i really hope it is) but 35% seems to high?
thank you

Are IGM and IGG both blood tests?

I am copying and pasting this -

The IgM test does not distinguish between Herpes 1 and Herpes 2. It just tells you that you were recently exposed to HSV1 or HSV2. HOWEVER, the Doctor on these forums has always emphasized the fact that IgM tests are highly unreliable and can sometimes show false positive results.

The IgG test will show positive (if you were in fact expose to Herpes). You can take an IgG for HSV1 and another IgG for HSV2. If it is a recent infection, you might test negative at first.  Test again in a few weeks.

If you do in fact have it, yes, you can spread it and being protected is a must!!! Most people get herpes from people who never show symptoms. I am curious about this 35% deal. If you had an IGM test, I would say you are probably clean but if it were an IGG herpes select test and it was positive, you can pretty much guarantee you are postive for it. Life isn't over so relax! Grace will help you out with specifics on how to live with this disease.
