Two Pinhead Bumps in Pubic Area

After using the bathroom yesterday, I noticed a small red area (maybe about 3 mm) with one, tiny pin-head bump in it, and it did not hurt or ooze. This scared me so I searched around and found another one in my pubic area about the same size (also did not ooze or hurt). I have had no bumps of any kind of the shaft or head of my penis.

My last sexual encounter was about six weeks ago, and I noticed a similar red spot (in exactly the same place as the first one mentioned) about two weeks ago and went away very quickly. Should I have concerns? I definitely lost some sleep last night over this. I have spoken with both women whom I have had sexual contact with and both were tested for everything before our encounter and all tested negative.

Those bumpa are very normal in that area. If they develop into fluid filled blisters have them swabbed but I do not suspect hsv as the cause.

Well, after three nights of noticing the "bump," it hasn't changed at all, so I'm not really sure what to think. Just waiting for my igg results now.

Thanks, man. I'm just one of those people that loses sleep over these things... Is all. It really stinks. My mother and grandfather are both hypochondriacs. I just think I got more my grandfather's version rather than my mother's. He checks himself into the emergency room several times a month - even a couple of times a week, sometimes.

Those tests are going to be conclusive at 11 weeks. Hsv lesions progress quickly to fluid filled blisters. A day or two.  If it hasn't changed in few days it's not hsv. Relax texasguy. It's going to be fine. Lol
Your test will prove you don't have it.

Well, I went to my doctor, and he looked around. He even had a hard time finding what discomfort I was talking about. It is the tiniest red coloring with no pain. He asked about my symptoms, when I discovered the "lesion" (two nights ago), last I had any kind of sex (7 weeks ago)... etc. He said there was no reason in doing a swab, because he wouldn't be able to get anything from that.

Also, it was not a cluster of sores like herpes normally has (also are very painful, apparently). He just took a full scale test of me - blood and urine for everything. The results usually come back extremely fast from them. They also generally will call me if something is abnormal. Not a bad thing considering if I don't get the phone call, then all should be well.

This HSV test will be 11 weeks after a non-protected genital exposure. If the test is good, it should be good.

I think I would agree with that. I'll tell ya - a Xanax pill surely helped me forget about it, and now I don't have any discomfort! Haha. I will update you with what my doctor says tomorrow.

Very very low. All of your exposures are incredibly low. Combine that with lack of symptoms that would suggest hsv and I think you can be confident you do not have hsv. Your anxiety is your worst enemy at this point

How about protected vaginal sex? I had a partner in the last 2.5 months (miss her quite a lot, actually) whom I had protected sex with, no oral. Very low transmission rate as well?

Zero. Even if she did have it your risk from a one time exposure with no lesion present is close to zero. If you were infected (which I would bet the farm you're not) your first outbreak and most if not all future outbreaks woukd be on your penis shaft. Not pubic region. This area see littke friction is hairy and the skin is much thicker thanthe oenis skin. Not to mention I highly doubt her lip were on or rubbing that area. This is just a few of the reasons I am not concerned over your exposure.
Hope this helps a little

What is the risk of HSV-1 from someone who tested negative IGG and swab three months before she gave me oral (no sex)? She had sex with a guy between us, but she said it was protected and all and has seen zero problems (she got kind of mad at me at this point! haha!)

No. I was one of those people who had a low false positive igg test. I ended up taking several more igg and a western blot test. I took a bit to get over that scare and believe the results. So I know your stressed.

You have been there... So have you been diagnosed with HSV?

I know and I've been there. Hsv lesions progress quickly from small bump to fluid filled blister and takes 10-14 days to heal on average. If they don't progress or they go away in a few days the hsv is not a likely candidate here. I know your stressed and I wish you the best!!!

Hsv lesions just don't go away quickly. I doubt its hsv because you have presented no evidence that makes me concerned. You are doing the right thing by having it looked at and swabbed. Better to be safe. Good luck and please keep us posted
