Newly diagnosis

Hello If any one could give advice..
I had a annual std done 3/23/18 everything came back negitive expect Hsv 1 and Hsv2 done by igg I got my results back 3/26/18 my results was hsv1 8.0 and hsv2 1.1...never been tested before had the same obgyn for 18years she said because I never. Had an outbreak or and sores or lesion. It was never no need and that was the only reason they test which make it more accurate. But my last sexual encounter was jan 15 2018 with my now exboyfriend.. Of 8years. He tested as well his doctor used labcorb. His results was hsv1 57.10 and hsv2 <0.91. Iam very scared if I use western blot which I order waiting on the kit.to come It will come back postive and my life will be over.. My Doc said Iam a low postive. And could been a old infection 10years plus... I been stress out bout this since I got the news any chance this could be a false postive Also I spoke with a few other doctors like a infectious disease control he also so itbia barley postive and might come back negitive.. Idk. Any suggestion

If you never had any out breaks it’s most likely to be false positive. Everything below 3.5 is 50/50 chandelier for false positive. The test is very sensitive and can pick odd proteins from being hsv1 positiv. The western blot will tell you for sure.  You have to wait over 12 weeks after possible exposure to get accurate testing. The body needs time to build antibodies. You will be fine, plus he tested negative, which is great indicator
