Herpes test accuracy at 7 weeks.

I just had an STD test performed 7 weeks post exposure. How accurate are my results. I know that I need to test again at 3 months but I was just wondering about current accuracy. I have not had any symptoms outside of an inflamed meatus every once in a while. No visible blisters or tingling. I had an igg test performed.

Fair enough, remember though that there is no additional risk associated with a CSW when it comes to a HSV1 infection from oral sex. The majority women have the infection and the incidence among CSW does not greatly exceed the population

It was a one time mistake and not something I am proud of. If I could take it back , I would.

About 80% of infected people will test positive after 7 weeks.

It does have to be asked: if this much anxiety arises from a CSW visit, why do this?
