Herpes or not I need help asap PLEASE
Ok I'll try and make this breif. After a short unprotected encounter 3 days after I developed urethra pain including discharge. My urethra felt swollen and the discharge was either liquidy or sticky but always clear. This subsided after a week and has come back every month for about 5 days. The only thing I can think of that would do this is herpes... Heres the twist, I've had 3 herpeselect type specific tests done at 4 weeks, 8 weeks and recently 13 weeks all negative for BOTH hsv1 and hsv2 and I have never taken antivirals. I want to beleive the results but once again i have urethra pain right now and know something is not right and this all started after that night of unprotected sex where I also got HPV. Any help would be appreciated.
Please what can I do I don't want to give herpes to my girlfriend who I got back together with. Should I look into Mycoplasma Genitalium?
I have been to a urologist they found nothing. This is what's getting at me because every month i get a week of pain and I'm going crazy getting no help. I'm at a complete loss.
No , this is not Herpes like infection ,..
A visit to a urologist should be done .to make urine analysis or culture if needed to take the optimum antibiotic for your infection .

You dont have herpes and if you had a herpes sore inside your urethra it would be very painful not just a discharge.
Thanks for the quick reply. Can I really be sure this isn't herpes because everything else is also negative and something has to be going on. I feel I'm in the 2% or so that is missed by the herpeselect and considering the pain goes away on its own then comes back isn't helping me getting away from herpes. Trust me when I say I want to get away from the herpes but I just want some help from the tons of docs I've seen on what's going on.
Hi, your negative for herpes but you should see a doctor to find out what the discharge is. Sounds like NGU.
