Oral to genital transmission- to someone who already has hsv1

Hey,
Is it possible to transmit hsv-1 to someone's genitals through oral sex, if the person receiving the oral sex already has hsv-1 and has gotten cold sores on their lips in the past??

Thanks!

It's best not to indulge in Oral sex while a Cold Sore is present nomatter what stage it's at.

Yes this can happen it is possible to have HSV1 both Orally and Genitally although already having it Orally gives a degree of protection against contracting it Genitally, it's not very likely that it would change site from Oral to Genital  ......
