Pimple or something more?

I recently have sex with a girl I met and it was pretty rough (including anal). Anyway, the next day I noticed I had what looked like a pimple. I popped it and it immediately started to heel. The problem is, the doctor I saw said that she has seen spots like that, that were infact herpes. Based on the info I said about what happen, does that sound like herpes? I don't have any pain or bleeding and when I popped it, puss came out just like a pimple would on a person's face. I took a test, but the results would be back for two weeks. I don't want to just sit a wait, if I someone can give me some insite, it would be greatly appreciated bc I am quite nervous. Thanks

and like I said this was right after my sexual incounter. Plus my skin was a little dry and flaky after the anal.
Could it have come from that? The skin color has come in yet, but it is completely heel(as in closed up). The nurse almost couldn't get a sample because it was heeled. No scabbing either

initial ob's differ from person to person and depend on your hsv1 status as much as anything.

if you are concerned about the symptoms you have now, follow up on them.

I had sex a week ago from today. Went to doctor on Weds. and went back again of Fri (that was when I had the area looked at). I asked the doctor Fri., if it could be anything else and she said no without blinking an eye. I did give a urine and blood sample anyway to test for the others to. I just want to know though, is it correct to asume that most people when they have their first outbreak, generally have more than just one sore which would take a few weeks to heel?

It sounds like an ingrown hair or irritation from the friction. If you noticed a problem immediately after, you were probably developing a pimple there before the encounter and the rough sex caused chafing.

Wish I had your doctor. Even though she seems a little overzealous in her diagnosis, mine keeps downplaying my symptoms and telling me I don't need to get tested because I already have HSV-1 so I already have the disease.

How long ago was the encounter? There is no way you caught herpes from her if the only symptom you have is the next day. You didn't mention how long you waited before seeing the doctor though

you can get tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea any time after 1 week post encounter. You have to wait 6 weeks post encounter for syphilis testing and 3 months post encounter for herpes and hiv testing.

continue to follow up on your symptoms as needed.

Sadly no, it wasn't protected. At the time I had so much stress mixed with fustration mixed with lust, and it was on impulse. I regret it and I did it on a Saturday night, then saw the (pimple like) bump Sunday night, popped it myself Monday night. Here it is One week later and the area where the bump is, has almost disappeared. There is only a small spot that has not quite changed to it's natural skin tone. I never saw a scab. Do you think I could have just blocked/clogged one of my pores? I mean there was friction and I noticed the lube was dry in the same spot before I washed up. I read on this site that it normally takes weeks for those kind of sores to heel and there is usually more than one. In my chase, the area is size of a ink pen point (unless you hold/stretch the skin apart). There was a tiny red bump as well (the same of a clothes pen point), but that is heeled to at the same rate (plus it is a hair sticking out of it). So with that said, is that correct? weeks to heel and usually more than one?

thank you for your time

sometimes a pimple is really just a pimple. Covering your bases and following up on this is never a bad idea.   was this protected sex?

First of thank you for commenting (answering my question). I just wanted to ask, there is no way possible it could have come from the skin being irritated? I mean there is no way it could be a pimple? Is it even possible for a person to have a pimple down there without it being something more than just a regular pimple?

A newly acquired herpes infection will not present the next day.

your blood test now will reflect a previously acquired herpes infection. I can help you with the results when you get them. Just write them down when you get them - e.g. hsv1 igg 4.3 and hsv2 igg 5.6 or whatever they are.
