we refer to scabbing with herpes as a stage of healing. it won't look the same as a scab you get when you scrape your knee as it's healing.
don't stretch the skin and pick and prod at these - let them heal!!!
Thanks...you're answer was a bit more informative. Rest assured I won't be doing what I did before. Online material is scary because it just sounds like anything can be Herpes. Seems like almost any type of ulcer or lesion could be Herpes if it shows up within the first 10 days after sexual activity. I plan to get tested soon. Just need to know for sure regardless.
I hope you're right. Could it be anything else? I realized that worrying is torture.
UPDATED: I got a bit more worried when I started to see a second bump across from the smaller ulcer where the scrotum touches the smaller ulcer. This time the bump did not have hair. Both are still a bit bumped up but the skin is normal.
The larger ulcer looks like it's about 80% healed now. Previous when I stretched the skin in that area it stung a little. That's not happening now. Also it doesn't seem to be scabbing. The healing seems to be just skin regenerating with some flaking.
I had itchy throat for a few days and that seems to be getting better. Been feeling a bit tight and light headed, but I think that's just from my worrying. I think I'm a bit dehydrated now as my urine is very yellow and my nose seems dry.
Still not herpes. You are fine
Could this be herpes? I haven't experienced pain, fever. I did feel surface itches because the hairs were growing back in. The area around the lesions/ulcers aren't red. Also the larger lesion seems to be healing about 50%.
we recommend you only have protected sexual contact! it protects you, saves you testing and keeps you from worrying like this.
have you ever been tested for herpes to know your own status?
